Shipping & Pre-Order Policy

At 2B Pure Publishing, we want your experience to be simple, transparent, and enjoyable. Please read our shipping and pre-order information before placing your order.

1. Pre-Orders

The Little Boat Who Was Afraid to Sail is available for pre-order ahead of its expected arrival in New Zealand.

Pre-order price: NZ$20 per book.
Expected dispatch: 7–13 December 2026.
Shipping destination: New Zealand only.

Pre-ordering allows you to reserve your copy before the books are ready to ship.

Your book will not be dispatched immediately when you place your order. We plan to dispatch pre-orders from New Zealand as soon as the books arrive and are ready to send.

Our goal is to have your book arrive in time for Christmas 2026. However, because delivery also depends on courier transit times and other factors outside our control, arrival before Christmas cannot be guaranteed.

If our expected dispatch date changes, we will contact affected customers with an update.

2. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship orders within New Zealand only.

Shipping method: Standard courier delivery.
Shipping cost: NZ$8 per order.
Estimated transit time: 3–5 business days after dispatch.

The estimated transit time begins once your order has been dispatched. It does not include the pre-order waiting period before the book is ready to ship.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, courier operations, public holidays, and circumstances outside our control.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible so we can try to correct it before dispatch.

3. Order Confirmation & Updates

You will receive an order confirmation after completing your purchase.

As this is a pre-order, please keep in mind that your book will be sent once it is available for dispatch.

If there is a significant change to the expected dispatch timeframe, we will contact you using the email address provided with your order.

Please check your inbox, including your junk or spam folder, for order confirmations and updates.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans can change.

You may cancel your pre-order before it is dispatched for a full refund. Please contact us with your order details so we can assist you.

If your order has already been dispatched, please contact us to discuss your situation.

If we cannot fulfil your order within the expected timeframe, we will communicate the revised timeframe and explain the options available to you, including cancellation and a refund where applicable.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

5. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Orders

We want your book to arrive safely.

If your order arrives damaged, you receive an incorrect item, or your order does not arrive within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us with your order number and a description of the issue.

Where helpful, please include photographs of any damage. We will review the situation and work with you to find an appropriate resolution.

Your rights under New Zealand consumer law continue to apply.
